This program rewards members for producing new manuscript pages. While quantity is not more important than quality, HBA also realizes that a writer can't edit a blank page.

For every 50 pages of new material, members may write their names on one notecard. Then, in June and November, the notecards from the previous six months are put into a drawing and a winner selected at random.

A critique of the winning member's first chapter (up to 25 pages) and synopsis (up to 8 double-spaced pages) by one of our generous published authors!
