"How to Launch for Success"

February 18 -- Jami Albright

Jami Albright is a born and raised Texas girl and am the multiple award-winning author of The Brides on the Run series--a fun, sexy, snarky, laugh-out-loud good time.

Jami’s also a wife, mother, and an actress/comedian. She loves her family, all things Outlander, and puppies make her stupid happy. Jami can be found on Sundays during football season watching my beloved Houston Texans and trying not to let them break her heart.

An effective launch is essential to your book’s success whether you release one book a year or twelve. Marketing techniques are changing all the time, so it’s hard to know what works and what doesn’t. Jami Albright will share her approach to effective book launching, what can be done ahead of time to set you up for success, and how to plan a strategy that will keep your book healthy in the charts after it’s released.

March 17-- Diane K. Peterson

"Making Goodreads Work for You"

Goodreads is the largest online community of readers in the world. This workshop will empower authors to embrace their Goodreads presence and learn to deal with negativity. Five aspects of Goodreads to be discussed are: strengthening your author profile, interacting with readers, checking your book records, using promotional tools, and seeking help. Make Goodreads work for you!

Diane Peterson is a retired school library media specialist that promotes the romance novel industry as an analyst, speaker, and reviewer. She is currently compiling the history of RWA. Diane is very active on Goodreads, tracking her own extensive library of romance books, writing reviews and following many authors and groups. A compulsive “fixer”, she uses her status as a Goodreads librarian to correct and improve book records as well as assisting authors. Diane is a member of RWA and the Missouri RWA chapter.

May 19 - Victoria Danann

"Creating Alpha Heroes and Heroines"

Victoria’s signature humor creeps into each and every book whether she intends it or not. But the heart of Victoria’s books is romance, the real kind that lasts and lingers like a charge in the air. Forever.

The rich characterizations and quirky personalities that readers so often comment about come from being a lifelong student of behavior – casually (love to people watch), and a serious student of behavior academically. She has also studied comparative religion, myths, and Dark Ages history.

Victoria lives in The Woodlands, Texas with her husband and a very smart, mostly black German Shepherd dog.
